Ontario Provincial Police have taken two individuals into custody as part of a drug trafficking investigation in Simcoe.
According to the Norfolk County OPP, the arrests occurred after a traffic stop on Ireland Road around 11 a. m. on Sunday.
While searching the suspects and their vehicle, officers discovered cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, ecstasy, Canadian cash, and various drug-related items.
As a result, 36-year-old Kevin Collins and 68-year-old Paul Saucier – both residents of Norfolk County – are facing multiple charges related to drug trafficking.
Collins is currently being held in custody and is set to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Monday.
Saucier is expected to make an appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on February 10.
