Police west of Toronto are searching for suspects after a break-in led to the theft of eight luxury vehicles from an Oakville, Ont., leasing company.
Halton police were called to Lockwood Leasing, located near South Service Road W. and Fourth Line, at around 3:35 a. m. on Sunday.
The front window was broken while the building was empty, allowing suspects to get into a lock box that held car keys.
The thieves then drove away with eight high-end cars, which included a Ferrari, two Porsches, three Mercedes-Benz models, and two BMWs.
Authorities estimate the value of the stolen cars at about $2 million; three of them – a BMW, a Mercedes, and a Ferrari – have since been found in the Greater Toronto Area.
The investigation is still active, and all suspects were reported to be wearing dark clothing along with face coverings.
