We are heartbroken to share that Donald George Gervais has passed away at the age of 86. He joins his parents, Jeanette Gervais (nee Girard) and Merle Gervais, along with his younger brother Lawrence (Larry), and many other loved ones who have gone before him. He was a caring father to Angela Casey (James) and Lynn Gervais-Weinle (David), and a proud grandfather to David Casey (Elli), Kathleen Casey, Zachary Weinle, and Meghan Elmore (Martin). He was also a loving Godfather to his great-nieces Isabella and Olivia Biondo. Don is survived by his siblings Diane Francoz and Gordon Gervais (Susan), as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He always worked to bring happiness into the lives of those around him. An avid sports fan, he especially supported Detroit teams, enjoyed playing euchre, often coming out on top. He dedicated his time volunteering for various organizations in his community, most recently with the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Don loved meeting new people and discovering different cultures. His influence touched so many lives, and he will be dearly missed.
