We are heartbroken to share that Megan passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Mississauga General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Philip and Moya Haddad and married to Mark Burns in Mississauga. She is also survived by her brother Dean Haddad and her late sister Karen Harvie. Her nieces include Emily Harvie, Heather Harvie, and Cade Haddad. She was the niece of Rev. Michael Ryan, Tim Ryan, Barry Blackburn, Dan Ryan, Calvin and Maria Haddad, as well as Aunt Tootsie and Michael Harrington. Additionally, she was the daughter-in-law to Gloria and sister-in-law to Patrick Burns and John Burns. Megan leaves behind numerous cousins across Canada and the USA. She worked as an account executive for On The Go Staffing in Mississauga. Megan attended F. J. Brennan High School before going on to St. Clair College. Megan had a zest for life that shone through in everything she did. She was incredibly generous with her family, husband Mark, and all her friends. An art lover at heart, she enjoyed painting as a hobby and often gifted her artwork to those close to her. Those who knew Megan will hold fond memories of her in their hearts forever. Friends and family are invited to visit Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234) on Tuesday, October 28th from 2-4pm and again from 7-9pm. Cremation has already taken place, with interment scheduled at St. Alphonsus Cemetery on Wednesday, October 29th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Karen Harvie Memorial Scholarship at the University of Windsor or St. Clair College.
