Early Voting Now Available in Grey Bruce for Ontario Election

The advance voting period for the 2025 Ontario Election has officially begun.

You can vote early at various polling places in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound and Huron-Bruce before Election Day, which falls on Thursday, Feb. 27.

If you want to cast your vote, head to an advance polling station with your voter information card that comes by mail and an ID. Elections Ontario states that if you haven’t received your voter information card yet, you can still vote. Just bring identification that shows both your name and home address to get registered for a ballot.

In Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, early polls are open at these locations from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m., starting Thursday, Feb. 20 through Saturday, Feb. 22:

-Owen Sound (Royal Canadian Legion Branch 6 – 1450 2nd Ave W, Owen Sound)
-Lion’s Head (Bethel Missionary Church – 11 Ferndale Road, Lion’s Head)
-Chesley (Chesley and Area Fire Department – 1st Ave N, Chesley)
-Dundalk (Wesleyan Church – 752202 IDA St, Dundalk)
-Durham (Durham and District Community Centre – 451 Saddler St, Durham)
-Flesherton (Flesherton Kinplex – 102 Highland Drive, Flesherton)
-Meaford (Meaford & St Vincent Community Centre – 151 Collingwood St, Meaford)
-Normanby (Normanby Township Arena – 112102 Grey Road 3, Ayton)
-Hanover (P& H Centre – 269 7th Ave, Hanover)
-Sauble Beach (Sauble Beach Community Centre – 30 Community Centre Dr, Sauble Beach)
-Wiarton (Wiarton Propeller Club – 575 Edward St, Wiarton)

If you’re in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound and prefer an early ballot option, you can also visit the local election office located at 625 6th Street East in Owen Sound until Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6 p. m. The office is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m., and Sunday from noon until 5 p. m.

In Huron-Bruce, early voting is available at these spots from Thursday Feb. 20 through Saturday Feb. 22 between the hours of ten in the morning until eight in the evening:

-Clinton (Central Huron Community Complex -239 Bill Fleming Drive, Clinton)
-Kincardine (Davidson Centre-601 Durham St., Kincardine)
-Goderich (Goderich Columbus Centre-390 Parsons Crt., Goderich)
-Port Elgin (Port Elgin United Church-840 Bruce Street Port Elgin )
-Exeter(Precious Blood Church-200 Sanders St., Exeter)
-Walkerton(Royal Canadian Legion102-505 Scott St. Walkerton)
-Wingham(Wingham Columbus Centre-99 Kerr Dr., Wingham)

If you’re voting in Huron-Bruce and want to cast an early ballot as well , stop by the local election office located at800 Sports Drive in Brussels until Wednesday , Feb.26 , at6 p. m. The Huron-Bruce election office operates Monday through Saturday from10 a. m. to8 p. m. and on Sundaysfrom12 p. m. to5 p. m.
