If there’s one thing Ontarians are excited to carry into 2026, it’s their passion for butter tarts. This February, Gotta Luv Butter Tarts is hosting its first festival of the year in Oakville.
The Oakville Butter Tart Market will be on Feb. 7, 2026, from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m., and admission is free. The event will take place at Oakville Place, located at 240 Leighland Ave.
So, if you missed out on the last celebration of 2025 that was held in Etobicoke in December, now’s your chance to indulge in some gooey goodness.
“The sweetest event of the season is officially on its way and you’re invited,” say the folks at Gotta Luv Butter Tarts.
“Bring your friends, bring your sweet tooth and bring your shopping bags – this is one event you won’t want to miss.”
Gotta Luv Butter Tarts has been around for ten years and has hosted festivities across Ontario in places like Caledon, Mississauga, and more.
“We started 10 years ago when we first realized that the butter tart craze was real,” the team at Gotta Luv Butter Tarts previously told Toronto. com.
“Everyone loved them and wanted to try them.”
Gotta Luv Butter Tarts also announced its 2025 People’s Choice winners on Dec. 24, honoring Grandma’s Beach Treats, Better Tarts, Omi’s Sweet n Treats and Bomb Bish Bakery.
Their festivals are known for featuring classic butter tart options as well as creative twists. The upcoming event in Oakville will also showcase marketplace vendors with skilled artisans and unique finds.
“Get ready to indulge, explore and shop your heart out with the most irresistible butter tarts you’ll ever taste,” they state.
If the February date doesn’t work for you, Gotta Luv Butter Tarts has also shared dates for other celebrations in 2026 including Bowmanville on March 28, Barrie on April 18, and southern Georgian Bay on July 11.
