Police in La Salle have reached out to the Ontario Provincial Police for assistance with their investigation into the town’s first murder in four years.
On the night of March 3, officers responded to a call at a residence on Todd Lane, where they discovered a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim, 43-year-old Nancy Grewal, later died from her injuries at Windsor Regional Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the OPP Criminal Investigations Branch. The Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are also involved.
This past Sunday, OPP shared footage of a suspect’s vehicle via social media.
