A business in Caledon has been shot at for the second time in a few weeks.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment is looking into the latest incident that occurred on January 6 during the early hours on Perdue Court, situated near Airport Road and Mayfield Road, just north of Brampton.

This small street is found in an industrial zone where several trucking depots are based.

According to police, this is the same site as a prior shooting incident that happened in December.

Investigators have indicated that the business – which remains unnamed – was targeted both times.

“The OPP urges community members to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activity to police,” police investigators said in a released statement. “This investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.”

If you have any information or surveillance/dashcam footage, please contact Caledon OPP by phone at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tipsters can reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or visit ontariocrimestoppers. ca.
