Nowak, Shelby: Shelby passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home in Kitchener, ON at the age of 12. She was the loving daughter of Samantha and Jessie. The most amazing big sister to her little sister Ashley. Adored granddaughter of Janice and Mark Haddock. Always remembered by her uncles, aunts, cousins, teachers, EA’s, and friends from school. Shelby shone brightly for everyone lucky enough to know her. Her contagious smile and sparkling eyes expressed so much when words fell short. Shelby was a true warrior; born at just 2lbs 8oz, she faced every challenge head-on. She consistently defied expectations right until the end. All who knew her will forever miss her and hold her in their hearts.
