MUZZIN (nee. Moret), Marilena

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the peaceful passing of a caring Wife, Mother, Nonna, and Bisnonna on July 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Santina Moret (nee. Ferrano). She has now reunited with her dear Husband Sergio Muzzin (2011). A devoted Mother to Joseph ‘Joe’ Muzzin (Angela) and Myra Muzzin. Treasured Nonna to Alan Muzzin (Jocelyn Skelton), Dale Muzzin (Amanda), Conner Postlethwaite, and Celina Bourque (Trevor). Loved Bisnonna to Sloan Muzzin, Kylie Muzzin, Bastian Muzzin, Nathan Muzzin, and Jayce Bourque. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada and Italy will miss her greatly. Marilena dedicated herself to her family throughout her life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and again from 7:00pm-9:00pm with parish prayers at 7:30pm at Windsor Chapel Central 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 9:30 a. m., starting from the funeral home before proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church at 85 Park St. E for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a. m. In accordance with Marilena’s wishes, cremation will follow. If you wish to express your sympathy, memorial donations to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex-County Inc. would be appreciated.
