A Sarnia woman is planning to repay her new automotive and journey after successful the lottery final month.

Christine Doyle received a LOTTO MAX second prize of simply over $224,000 within the October 4, 2024 draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Company (OLG) stated Doyle, who works in gross sales, has been a daily lottery participant for many years.

“She usually performs LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49, at all times ensuring so as to add ENCORE,” the OLG stated in its information launch. “For the October 4th draw, along with her normal Fast Decide, Christine determined to play a ticket with numbers of her selecting. It was this ticket that led to her first large win!”

Doyle stated when she checked her ticket utilizing the OLG app, she thought she’d received $24,000 when the “Huge Winner” message got here throughout the display screen.

“I called out to my sister, and she checked my ticket again using her phone. It was then that she pointed out I had won more than $224,000! I screamed with delight and wondered if it was real,” Doyle laughed when retelling the story on the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto when selecting up her winnings.

She stated though she was in disbelief, she was very excited and glad.

“I’d simply purchased a automotive the night time earlier than successful this prize, so I plan to pay it off. I’m additionally thrilled to share a few of this win with my household and can save the remaining for journey. I’ve some enjoyable adventures forward to take pleasure in,” Doyle added.

The successful ticket was bought at Dairy Mart on Broadway Avenue in Wyoming.
