January 1, 2026, BRAMPTON – The William Osler Health System’s (Osler) Brampton Civic Hospital is excited to share that its first baby of the year has arrived, born this morning at exactly 00:00 a. m. Proud parents Jasveer Kaur and Jaswinder Singh Dhaliwal from Brampton welcomed a healthy baby boy who weighs 6 pounds, 12.82 ounces.
Osler sends heartfelt congratulations to the new parents and their family, as well as to all the families celebrating new arrivals during this festive season.
A big thank you goes out to Osler’s Gift Shop, run by the Volunteer Association of William Osler Health System, for their kind donation of a gift basket filled with baby essentials for the family.
Brampton Civic Hospital is a full-service facility catering to families in Brampton and nearby areas. As one of Ontario’s leading hospital systems, Osler looks forward to an exciting future with significant changes on the horizon, including transforming Peel Memorial into a new hospital for Brampton and enhancing cancer care services in the area.
