An Oshawa man has been arrested after a resident of a rooming house was attacked and stabbed on New Year’s Day.
Durham Police received a call about an armed individual at a location near Ritson Road and Adelaide Avenue at 7:30 Thursday evening. When officers arrived, they found both the victim and the suspect. The victim was rushed to Oshawa Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody without any problems.
Nnamdi Enunwa, 38, faces charges of aggravated assault along with two weapons-related offenses.
He is being held for a bail hearing.
