With great sadness, the family of Charles Thomas Barker, a caring husband to Patricia (Shelfoon) Robinson, shares the news of his unexpected passing on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Newmarket, ON, on January 22, 1948, he was the son of the late William Herbert and Joan Beryl (Liddicot) Barker.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, special nephew Christopher Shelfoon and grandnephews Brayden and Harrison Anstey.
Tom dedicated many years to working for Health Canada. He was a passionate fan of the Montreal Canadians, enjoyed collecting Formula 1 model cars, was actively involved with the Lions Club and cherished time spent at the cottage with Pat and their cats Oliver and Nell.
His body will rest at Belvedere Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s name may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the PEI Humane Society.
