The area has been cleared following a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Tomlinson Drive and Goderich Street in Port Elgin.

Saugeen Shores police, firefighters, and paramedics were on the scene.

The traffic lights at several intersections around town were out due to a power outage.

Authorities advise treating these intersections as four-way stops when the signals aren’t functioning.

This morning, there was another collision near Lamont Sports Park on Concession 6 in the southern part of Port Elgin. Three individuals were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Emergency crews also dealt with a structure fire on Bluewater Drive in Port Elgin. This location is a few blocks west of Giant Tiger. There’s no update yet on how severe the fire was.
