Obituary for
Eric Gordon Cunningham


Eric died peacefully at his residence in Huntsville, Ontario. He was the deeply beloved husband of Heather Hunter and the devoted father of Ashley and her husband John Mesec. Eric was predeceased by his dad and mom Estelle and Eric Cunningham and his sister Pamela. He’s survived by his brother Douglas (Equipment) and Duncan (Pleasure). He will likely be missed by his nieces and nephews Sarah, Michael, Tyler, Allison and Charles. He will even be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Debra Hamilton and Sandra Furgal (Dave), his niece Marlee Hamilton (Matt) and nephew Ryan Hunter (Natalie) and by his nice nephew Hunter. In his private and enterprise life Eric engendered the respect of his pals, colleagues and purchasers for his knowledge, thoughtfulness and integrity. He was a proud Canadian and a loyal and devoted member of the Liberal Occasion of Ontario and Canada. Eric was a loving husband and a beloved father. He will likely be missed by so many who had the privilege of figuring out him. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, in addition to Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will likely be held at Port Nelson United Church, South Dr. (at Rossmore), Burlington, on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2 pm. Cremation to comply with. If desired, donations made to the Huntsville Hospital Basis, or the Buddies of Algonquin Park, could be vastly appreciated by the household.
