Orillia OPP confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that an individual was discovered deceased inside a log dwelling, scene of a hearth on Concession Street A in Ramara Township, east of Gamebridge.
The Ontario Fireplace Marshal and the Officer of the Chief Coroner of Ontario are investigating.

The proprietor of a log house is “unaccounted for” as fireplace crews from Ramara Township battled a blaze on the residence early Tuesday.
In keeping with Ramara Fireplace in an e-mail to Barrie 360, a name got here in shortly after 5:30 a.m. a few fireplace at a one-and-a-half-storey log dwelling at 1686 Concession Street A, east of Gamebridge.
There have been no different occupants or pets within the dwelling.
The reason for the fireplace is below investigation.
Harm is pegged at $350,000.
Rama fireplace crews acquired help in battling the fireplace from Brock Township and Rama First Nations.
The Ontario Fireplace Marshal has been contacted.
