With a heavy coronary heart, we announce the passing of Andy Penrose on February 3, 2025.
Andy was the cherished husband of Nancy and a loyal dad to Emily and her husband, Lloyd Samuell. He was the beloved son of the late Albert and Bella Penrose, and brother to Sheila Fenwick (late Ed), and the late Albert (late Carol-Rene). Andy was additionally an expensive uncle Andy to Jane Gzik (late Gary), Bob (Yvette), Dan (Christine), and a great-uncle to Evan Gzik (Amanda) and Hannah Gzik Spicer (Mitch).
Arriving in Canada as a younger boy in 1952, the household settled in Milton, Ontario the place he attended public and secondary college, loved scouting and taking part in monitor and area. As an grownup, Andy and his household made their dwelling in Barrie, Ontario for 23 years and after retirement relocated to Brighton, Ontario.
Andy embraced each journey life provided. He discovered pleasure in his automobiles, bikes, crusing, biking, and the nice recreation of golf, to not point out his prowess as a dart participant. After retiring from Trans Northern Pipelines in 2009, Andy relished his hobbies and pursued new pursuits with enthusiasm. Andy will probably be remembered for his fast wit and memorable one-liners.
A Celebration of Life will probably be held on Could 4, 2025 from 1-4 pm on the Sandpiper Centre, 8 Mills Highway, Brighton, Ontario. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of your selection are vastly appreciated by the household.
