Police say the motive force of a transit bus in Guelph, Ont., is going through charges after a pedestrian was fatally struck final month. They are saying a 49-year-old man was crossing a road in early January when he was hit by a Guelph Transit bus.

They are saying a 49-year-old man was crossing a road in early January when he was hit by a Guelph Transit bus.
Firefighters pulled the person from beneath the bus however he was pronounced lifeless a short while later.
Guelph police say a 57-year-old woman from Cambridge, Ont., went to a police station on Sunday and was arrested there.
She is now going through charges of prison negligence inflicting dying and careless driving inflicting dying.
She is scheduled to look in court docket March 28.
