In January of 2024, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to the Little one Abuse Unit (CAU) commenced an investigation into an alleged youngster sexual assault that occurred within the Metropolis of St. Catharines
The sufferer on this matter is a youth feminine. The offences are believed to have occurred between September 2023 and January 2024 when the sufferer was 15 years previous. The sufferer and the suspect met over the web.
Because of the investigation, Kenneth Vivian (26 years previous) of St. Catharines was arrested on March 14, 2024, and is charged with the next Legal Code offences:
Sexual assault on an individual below 16 years of age
Invitation to sexual touching below 16 years of age
Sexual interference on an individual below 16 years of age
Vivian is being held in custody pending a bail listening to that’s anticipated to happen on March 14, 2024, on the Robert S.Okay. Welch Courthouse situated at 59 Church St. within the Metropolis of St. Catharines.
Detectives have motive to consider their could also be extra victims and are asking the general public to contact police if anybody has any info or if anybody could have been a sufferer.
