Joint Police Operation Results in Main Drug Seizure in Peterborough
PETERBOROUGH, ON – A Peterborough man is dealing with a number of drug-related charges following a large-scale investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Peterborough Police Service (PPS).
Authorities launched the investigation in the summertime of 2024, concentrating on drug trafficking networks in Peterborough and surrounding areas. On January 28, 2025, coordinated police raids had been carried out in Peterborough, Durham Area, and York Area.

Seized Objects Embrace Massive Portions of Fentanyl and Cocaine

1.5 kg of suspected fentanyl
1.6 kg of suspected cocaine
30 oxycodone tablets
Over $5,000 in money

Tirath ODEA, 26, of Peterborough, faces six charges underneath the Felony Code and the Managed Medicine and Substances Act, together with:
Possession of property obtained by crime
Two counts of possession for the aim of trafficking – cocaine
Two counts of possession for the aim of trafficking – fentanyl
Possession for the aim of trafficking – different opioids
