An armed carjacking in Pickering Monday night has police on the hunt for no less than two suspects after a person had his automotive stolen at gunpoint.
Durham Police responded to the armed carjacking name at 7:30 Monday night time at Altona Highway and Taunton Highway close to the Toronto border.
Police say the sufferer was travelling westbound on Taunton when he was rear-ended by an SUV simply west of Altona. The sufferer had pulled over to test for injury when he was confronted at gunpoint by the passenger of the opposite car who demanded the keys. The suspect then bought within the sufferer’s car and fled westbound on Taunton. The car that rear-ended the sufferer additionally fled westbound.

The armed suspect is described as a Black man, 5’9” with a slim construct. He was carrying a black baseball cap, black medical masks, black puffer jacket, black cargo pants and black footwear.
