Detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service are investigating two theft incidents that occurred at jewellery shops in St. Catharines and Welland.

On Nov. 27, 2024, at 5:41pm 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to Kavar Jewellers positioned in Pen Centre in St. Catharines. The preliminary investigation decided {that a} lone male suspect entered the shop and requested to have a look at jewellery. When the male was given entry to the jewellery, he out of the blue ran from the shop stealing jewellery.

On Nov. 27, 2024, at 6:13pm 3 District (Welland/Pelham) uniform officers responded to Tianna’s Jewellery positioned within the Seaway Mall in Welland. The investigation decided {that a} lone male had entered the shop asking to have a look at jewellery. When the male was given entry to the jewellery, he ran from the shop stealing jewellery.

The identical suspect was concerned in each incidents.

The suspect (See photographs) is described as:


Male
18-25 years
Clear shaven
Lengthy black curly hair

No suspect car as been recognized.

The Niagara incidents are believed to have been dedicated by the identical suspect in an identical Stratford, Ont. incident on Nov. 26, 2024 (CLICK HERE).  The suspect could also be lively in different areas of Ontario too.
