Hearth crews responded to a hearth at a Waterloo waste administration web site Friday night.
Waterloo Hearth advised Ontario Chronicle that the hearth started when cardboard caught on hearth and unfold to different flammable supplies.
Crews have been on scene from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
At one level, an aerial truck was used.
A close-by resident stated he was driving close to Conrad Place when he noticed heavy smoke and stopped to take photographs.
He claimed the smoke was from a hearth on the Waterloo hauling and switch station, operated by the corporate ‘Waste Management’.
Staff of the waste administration facility have been on-site on the time however nobody was harm.
Waterloo regional police stated the incident was dealt with by hearth and they didn’t attend.
