Ontario Provincial Police have laid greater than 250 charges this lengthy weekend as they proceed their enforcement blitz at an unlawful automobile rally in Wasaga Seaside, Ont.

On Friday, officers handed out roughly 97 tickets as they started cracking down on the deliberate automobile rally over the Labour Day lengthy weekend, OPP stated. On Saturday, an extra 160 charges have been laid as of two p.m., the drive stated in a information launch.

Of these issued Friday, police say they embrace charges for Freeway Visitors Act violations, suspended licence, pointless noise, improper muffler and drivers with no licences. One motorist was charged with drug-impaired operation of a automobile, police stated.
