Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a 61-year-old man from Peterborough was killed in a crash on Freeway 7 north of Belleville on Monday morning.
The top-on crash between the sufferer’s automotive and a transport truck occurred simply after 10 a.m. round Flinton Street, which is in Hastings County between Kaladar and Madoc.
The sufferer, who police didn’t title, was ejected from the automotive he was driving and pronounced deceased on the scene, based on the OPP information launch Tuesday morning.
The truck driver wasn’t severely injured, police mentioned. The freeway was closed till about 9 p.m.
The crash occurred about 9 kilometres north of Tweed’s core and about 40 kilometres north of Belleville.
