Santa Claus Parade adopts new, shorter route

Santa Claus Parade adopts new, shorter route

The practically two-kilometre route will convey the parade alongside James Road earlier than turning onto Brant Road at Civic Sq.

Santa Claus is coming to city on Sunday, Dec. 1, for Burlington’s annual Santa Claus Parade, although he’ll be taking a unique route from earlier years as a consequence of building.

The parade will begin at Drury Lane close to Burlington Central Library at 2 p.m. and observe New Road and James Road in direction of Brant Road. It’ll flip proper onto Brant Road and end on the intersection of Blairholme Avenue and Brant avenue.

The route can also be shorter than it has been in earlier years, a change that town stated has been requested by residents.

Locals are inspired to convey money or non-perishable meals donations to the parade, because the Burlington Teen Tour Boosters will likely be accumulating for the Burlington Meals Financial institution and the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Membership will accumulate money donations on behalf of the parade organizing committee.

The route is sort of two kilometres lengthy, and the Metropolis of Burlington remains to be on the lookout for volunteers to assist out.
