Two Toronto males arrested, third sought by police following incident Sunday close to Freeway 7 and Bayview
Two suspects have been charged and a 3rd is being sought following a carjacking Sunday in Richmond Hill.
At about 9:30 p.m., police responded to a carjacking within the space of Freeway 7 East and Bayview Avenue, the place three suspects had approached the sufferer, assaulted him with what seemed to be a handgun and stole his Mercedes. The sufferer sustained minor accidents.
Shortly after, police discovered the Mercedes being pushed with a second stolen car, an Acura sedan, in Toronto. At about 1:40 a.m., two suspects have been arrested within the space of Lawrence Avenue and Wexford Boulevard. A duplicate handgun was seized and the 2 stolen autos have been recovered, York Regional Police stated in a information launch.

Axel Diaz, 23, and Keyon Grenade, 22, each of Toronto, have been charged with theft with a firearm, disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (two counts) and weapons harmful.
Grenade was on a weapons prohibition order for an unrelated offence on the time of the incident.
