BRAMPTON, ON, Aug. 20, 2024 /CNW/ – The Metropolis of Brampton, in collaboration with Toronto and Area Conservation Authority (TRCA), and Ontario Nature, is proud to announce a major contribution of 1,924.5 hectares of pure heritage lands in the direction of Canada’s worldwide dedication to guard 30 per cent of lands and waters by 2030, generally known as the 30×30 goal. This initiative marks a crucial step in safeguarding biodiversity, mitigating local weather change impacts and guaranteeing ecosystem sustainability.
