A motorist faces a careless driving cost and $250 fantastic after a collision involving an OPP car in Caledon.
Provincial police say the collision occurred late Wednesday afternoon within the Church Highway and Centreville Creek Highway intersection.
“The investigation revealed that the driver of the other vehicle entered an intersection when not safe to do so and caused a collision with the police vehicle,” OPP said.
No accidents had been reported.
Police say the driving force, a 28-year-old man from Georgetown, was additionally issued a three-day licence suspension for registering within the ‘warn range’ for blood alcohol focus when offering a breath pattern.
“A warn range on an Approved Screening Device is having a Blood Alcohol Concentration between 0.05-0.079,” OPP defined.
