York regional police are in search of 5 suspects concerned with a violent theft Monday afternoon at a jewelry retailer in Richmond Hill.
Officers say at round 4 p.m. 4 suspects entered the st0re within the space of Yonge Avenue and Carrville Highway demanding money. Additionally they say a fifth suspect was ready in a stolen Nissan Maxima whereas the theft happened.
Investigators say one suspect allegedly assaulted an worker whereas the opposite three smashed open show circumstances. The suspects then allegedly stole a amount of jewelry and fled within the awaiting automotive, which was later recovered by police.
Detectives say the worker suffered minor accidents because of the assault.
Police say one suspect is a white man, who was carrying a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white footwear.
They describe the opposite three suspects who entered the shop as Black males, all carrying black clothes.
Investigators say every suspect was carrying masks and gloves.
Officers say they don’t have an outline of the suspect ready within the stolen automotive.
