A satellite picture on Tuesday captured the dramatic, lake-effect snowfall throughout southern Ontario. The distinction is hanging: Areas downwind of Lake Huron are painted in a thick coat of white, whereas communities simply adjoining to those localized bands stay utterly untouched.
