Police allege two males individually entered a retailer within the metropolis’s north finish on Oct. 12 and positioned a number of objects in a cart – together with three circumstances of butter price greater than $900 – earlier than leaving via a receiving door.
They allege that 4 days later, two males stole 4 circumstances of butter price greater than $950 from one other retailer and left via an emergency exit.
Police say there have been a minimum of seven “large-scale” butter thefts in Guelph within the final 10 months.
They are saying it’s not recognized if all of the incidents are associated.
Police have launched suspect descriptions and are asking anybody with data to come back ahead.
