Provincial police are investigating a collision in Bracebridge that claimed the life of 1 individual over the weekend.
Bracebridge OPP and emergency providers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Stephenson Highway 1 East simply earlier than 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Police say the automobile was travelling east when it struck a tree and burst into flames.
“Sadly, the sole occupant was pronounced deceased,” police said in a Monday launch.
The street was closed between Pinedale Highway and Bonnie Lake Highway for the investigation.
Motorists had been detoured across the space all through many of the day. Stephenson Highway 1 East reopened round 5 p.m. Sunday.
