On Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at roughly 10:45 p.m., 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the realm of St. Paul Avenue West and Edith Avenue within the Metropolis of St. Catharines in response to a stabbing.
Investigation revealed that six males have been in an altercation which escalated to a 46-year-old male and a 15-year-old male getting stabbed by three youth males. A close-by institution grew to become conscious of the incident and took the male victims into their institution to help the victims till police arrived.
The grownup male sufferer sustained minor bodily accidents. The youth male sufferer sustained life-threatening accidents and was transported to an out of area hospital. He’s at present in steady situation.
Because of the investigation, detectives have been in a position to determine the youth males.
A 15-year-old male from St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with the next offences:

All three accused have been held in bail pending a bail listening to that’s anticipated to happen on Oct. 11, 2024, on the Robert S.Okay. Welch Courthouse situated at 59 Church St. within the Metropolis of St. Catharines
The Youth Felony Justice Act of Canada prohibits the Niagara Area Police Service from releasing the id of the accused younger individuals concerned on this matter.
