A 39-year-old St. Catharines resident has been charged after officers say a lady was dragged by a neighborhood police station whereas attempting to cease a person from allegedly stealing her purse.
The incident occurred on Might 30 at Niagara Regional Police Service’s (NRPS) 1 District at 198 Welland Ave.
Police stated they had been known as to the constructing’s foyer for an assault in progress.
There, officers discovered a person who was “acting erratically” when he allegedly approached a 77-year-old woman who was sitting on a bench.
