How does this work?

There will probably be a number of street closures in Brampton starting Saturday afternoon and into the night for town’s annual Santa Claus Parade. 

Peel Regional Police mentioned in a social media publish that the parade route is about to start at Bramalea Street and Central Park Drive, travelling north alongside Bramalea Street and ending at North Park Drive and Jordan Boulevard. Closures are anticipated to stay in place from 3 p.m. to eight p.m.

Public transit routes, together with 9 Vodden, 12 Grenoble, 15 Bramalea, and 19 Fernforest, will probably be briefly detoured throughout this time.

Extra closures will probably be in impact on Central Park Drive from 10:30 a.m. to eight p.m., impacting Route 19 Fernforest. Nevertheless, Routes 29 Williams and 17 Howden will proceed to function on their common routes.

The parade itself begins at 5 p.m., bringing vacation cheer as Santa Claus makes his grand arrival from the North Pole.

For these attending the parade, parking is out there at a number of downtown areas together with Metropolis Corridor Storage, West Tower Storage, Market Sq. Storage, Nelson Sq. Storage, George Avenue North Floor Parking Lot and John Avenue Storage.

Police are advising these planning to journey or residing close to the affected areas to make use of alternate routes and are reminding residents to decorate warmly as they head out to benefit from the festivities.
