A 37-year-old man is dealing with charges after allegedly taking footage up ladies’s skirts and clothes at a Customers Drug Mart in Burlington on a number of events this summer time.
Halton police stated they have been known as to the shop, situated on New Avenue, on June 25. Officers stated they obtained report of a male within the retailer taking pictures of unsuspecting ladies.
Police stated the suspect fled the scene earlier than they arrived.
Following an investigation, the three District Prison Investigations Bureau recognized seven separate incidents of voyeurism occurring on June 25, July 8 and Aug. 7.
Investigators stated the victims have been unaware the pictures have been being taken, more often than not.
On Thursday, police arrested Mohammed Abdals El-Sheikh, of Etobicoke, and charged him with seven counts of voyeurism and one rely of felony harassment.
El-Sheikh is held in custody pending a bail listening to in Milton.
Investigators are sharing a photograph of the accused as they consider there could also be extra victims.
