WALSH, Mary Elizabeth (née Corridor) – entered into relaxation peacefully, surrounded by her household, at Hospice Peterborough on November 9, 2024, in her sixty fourth 12 months. Beloved spouse of 41 years of Patrick Walsh. Proud mom of Allison (Justin) McMullan and Colin Walsh. Expensive sister of Kathryn (William) Hutson, Richard (Maria) Corridor, Sara Beukeboom, and Christine (John) Bongers. Cherished sister-in-law of Mary Anne (Gary) Shill, the late Barbara (Robert) Broad (2002), Frances (Denis) Gagne, David (Margaret) Walsh, and Michael (Theresa) Walsh. Predeceased by her mother and father Mary (2018) and Gerald R. Corridor (1999). Will probably be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A treasured buddy to many in Peterborough, Parry Sound, Lindsay, and past.
Born in Lindsay on September 3, 1960, Mary Beth obtained her nursing diploma from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1981 and her Bachelor of Nursing Science from Queen’s College in 1991. She had a rewarding 39-year profession as a registered nurse. In her free time, she loved studying together with her (a number of) guide golf equipment, strolling with good associates, biking, {golfing}, curling, an excellent cup of tea, and knitting, many will treasure the socks, blankets, and sweaters she knit for them with love.
Mary Beth was a survivor of non-smoker’s lung most cancers for near 4 years. The household needs to increase their heartfelt because of Dr. David Carr, Dr. Becca Webster, the Most cancers Care crew on the Peterborough Regional Well being Centre, the employees at Hospice Peterborough, and their household and associates for his or her care and assist throughout her sickness.
Household and associates are invited to name at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Highway, Peterborough, Ontario, on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Service to comply with within the chapel at 1:00 PM. Reception within the Highland Reception Centre. Interment later at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lung Most cancers Canada or Hospice Peterborough could be enormously appreciated by the household.
