It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and good friend, Paul Durant. Paul was a person whose complete world revolved round his household, particularly his 9 grandchildren whom he cherished greater than the rest on this world.
For 28 years, he devoted his life to serving the group as a loyal worker of Calgary Transit. He was identified for his unwavering dedication and dedication to his job. Paul additionally drove for the Weyburn handy-bus with delight and professionalism. His most up-to-date supply of pleasure got here from driving the trolley for the Calgary Stampede, the place “Trolley Paul” delighted in bringing smiles to the faces of all who rode with him, particularly the youngsters by “Stampede School” for the previous ten years.
Paul touched the lives of many along with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering religion. He was nominated twice to obtain the distinguished White Hat award, was an energetic member of the Knights of Columbus for a few years, drove the Santa bus at Christmas for the Metropolis of Calgary, and beloved Sherlock Holmes.
He leaves behind a legacy of affection, laughter, and unforgettable reminiscences that can be cherished by all who had the privilege of realizing him. He can be deeply missed by his household, pals, and all these whose lives he touched. Could he relaxation in peace, realizing that his spirit lives on within the hearts of those that beloved him.
Paul is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 49 years, Donna, his 4 youngsters Jennifer, James (Jodi), Liza (Jason), and Andrew (Shawna); his 9 grandchildren Elias, Rylee, Emma, Adrian, Sara, Layla, Jacob, Tayven and Elvis; and two adopted grandchildren Talon and Lucas.

Memorial Providers can be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Highway SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to comply with within the Hospitality Centre on the Funeral Residence. All are welcome to attend.
