Born in Essex, England, to Joan Edna (nee Risley) and Douglas Martineau on August 24, 1954, John was raised alongside his three siblings in Thessalon and North Bay, Ontario.
John got here west in February of 1974 and located his house right here in Calgary. He labored laborious and in 1977, he established his profitable enterprise, Martineau Roofing Ltd. In the identical 12 months, he began his household along with his then accomplice Linda Lenhard.
John met Cate in 1991 and after a whirlwind courtship, they lastly married in August 2019.
