A 52-year-old man from Wasaga Seashore who’s banned from driving was arrested Monday after police stopped him for being behind the wheel with expired plates.
Police say officers pulled the car over on Mosley Avenue and, after talking with the motive force, initiated an impaired driving investigation.
Provincial police say additional checks revealed that the person was beneath a lifetime driving prohibition that had been in impact since 2002 and was beneath a Freeway Site visitors Act suspension for unpaid fines stemming from 2022.
The accused faces charges of impaired driving, operation whereas prohibited beneath the Legal Code, driving whereas beneath suspension, failing to give up a allow for the motorcar, driving a motorcar with no presently validated allow, and failing to give up an insurance coverage card.
