Three persons are deceased and 5 others injured after a velocity boat and a fishing boat collided Saturday night time on Bobs Lake north of Kingston.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash occurred round 9:30 p.m. within the Bucks Bay space of the lake.
They are saying two girls, aged 21 and 22, and a 23-year-old man have been pronounced deceased on the scene.
5 others between the ages of 21 and 44 have been transported to an area hospital with a variety of accidents.
Police say one boat was described as an open bow fishing model boat and the opposite as a velocity boat.
OPP spokesman Invoice Dickson says an investigation is underway however didn’t present additional particulars.
