With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Paschal Nicell on October 8, 2024, on the age of 91. Loving husband of Barbara for over 66 years. Beloved father of Joan, Aideen (Michel), Jim (Daybreak), Marie O’Neil (Scott), and Mike (Tracy). Cherished Grandad of Trevor (Emilie), Steven (Katie), Devin (Scarlett), Liam (Sarah), Aiden, Kieran, Seamus, Colin, Sean, Brendan, and Conor. Loving Nice-Grandad of Michael, Ashley, and Sophia. Son of Michael and Martha. Beloved brother of Michael and Paul; half-brother of Conor McGaley. He will probably be endlessly missed by his prolonged household and lots of pals who beloved him dearly.
Patrick was born in Dublin, Eire, and moved to Montreal, Canada instantly following his marriage to Barbara, finally relocating to Windsor. He embraced his new nation, however by no means misplaced his love for Eire and his Irish heritage. He was an energetic member in the neighborhood, particularly in service of his native parish. Patrick was a devoted household man, a gifted painter, a lover of music and Irish dancing, and a loyal member of the Irish Canadian Cultural Membership of Windsor. He loved tenting along with his household, swimming in his yard pool, household dinners (the larger the higher!), Irish Membership symposiums, assembly new individuals, and maintaining with present occasions. Patrick took explicit pleasure in spending time along with his eleven grandsons (!!!) and three great-grandchildren.
The grief of our loss will probably be with us for a very long time, however the pleasure of our reminiscences will keep endlessly.

Memorial visitation will probably be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. (519-253-7236) on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. A funeral mass will happen on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd W).
