Three Quebec residents are deceased, and one was severely injured after a collision involving two autos on Freeway 401 in Quinte West, a metropolis west of Belleville, Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers, paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene of the crash on westbound lane of the freeway, west of County Street 40 interchange at roughly 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
OPP says the crash occurred when a minivan collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer, whose driver wasn’t harmed. Police say site visitors within the space was slowed or stopped on account of a separate crash additional west.
A 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had been pronounced deceased on the scene whereas an eight-month little one was taken to a hospital however later pronounced deceased.
A four-year-old little one was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Toronto with severe accidents.
Police say all of the victims are from Laval, Que.
