One individual is lifeless following a multi-vehicle crash on Freeway 401 close to Kingston, Ont.
Emergency crews responded to a “chain response” collision involving 5 autos on Freeway 401 at roughly 7:40 p.m., in keeping with police.
Ontario Provincial Police say a tractor-trailer hit one other car that was slowing down or stopped in a building zone.
“Secondary collisions occurred involving three different autos being rear-ended inflicting harm and accidents to 2 people,” the OPP mentioned. “A 3rd individual was pronounced deceased on the scene.”
Two folks have been transported to hospital for therapy and launched.
The westbound lanes of Freeway 401 have been closed between Joyceville Highway and Freeway 15 for greater than 14 hours. The street reopened simply after 10 a.m. Thursday.
