Waterloo Area, Ontario – A four-year member of the Waterloo Regional Police Service has been charged by the Toronto Police Service in connection to an off-duty incident.
On June 17, 2024, the member was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault and is scheduled to seem in Toronto’s Ontario Court docket of Justice on July 24, 2024.
The member has been suspended with pay as per the necessities of the Group Security and Policing Act of Ontario.
