Toronto Police say they made two arrests at a demonstration close to Armoury Road and College Avenue final Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 that concerned Hezbollah flags.
Police allege that the accused had been seen carrying Hezbollah flags, a listed terrorist entity by the Authorities of Canada, on the demonstration.
Officers approached the accused and warned them in regards to the public peace threats posed by the flags.
Police say that because of the massive crowd and public security considerations, officers disengaged.
The accused allegedly continued to show and wave the Hezbollah flags.
